Earl O'Connor

Earl William O’Connor, 75, passed away Tuesday, July 20, 2021. A memorial service will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, August 4, 2021 in the Elmwood Funeral Home Chapel, 5750 Hwy 277 South.

Earl was born October 17, 1945 in Canton, Ohio to Victor and Florence O’Connor.  He graduated from Canton South High School in 1963. Earl was a merchandiser for Montgomery Ward and Sears. He could turn junk into treasures with his artist spirit. Earl and his wife Esmeralda were caregivers to their son Matthew for his whole life and stayed dedicated to making sure his needs were met in every way. Most important he was a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather.  He was very loved and will be dearly missed.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Esmeralda O’Connor; and two siblings, Alice O’Connor, and Glen O’Connor.

Earl is survived by his children, Meredith Kleiner and wife Brandi, Michael O’Connor, Matthew O’Connor, Gretchen O’Connor, Sean O’Connor, Amanda O’Connor; nine grandchildren; four great grandchildren; siblings, Lois Bowser, and Virgil O’Connor; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
