Efrain Gomez

Efrain Gomez, 56, died Thursday, June 02, 2011 in Abilene. His funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, June 4, 2011 in the Elmwood Funeral Home Chapel, 5750 HWY 277 South with burial following in Elmwood Memorial Park. A Prayer Service will be held at 7:00 PM on Friday at Elmwood.

Efrain was born on March 21, 1955 in Mexico the son of Moises Gomez and Juanita Tapia. He had worked for Pepsi for the past 12 years. He was the manager of the music group Fantasia for several years and was a caring person who was always helping others.

Survivors include his brothers and sisters, Samuel Gomez of Mexico, David Gomez of Abilene, Rebeca Garcia of Abilene, Elizabeth DeLaPaz of Abilene, Arturo Gomez of Abilene, Felipe Gomez of Abilene and Armondo Gomez of Abilene as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

His parents, and his siblings, Ernestina Randes, Jose Maria Gomez and Josue Gomez preceded him in death.
