Rays of sunshine touch each of us throughout our lifetime and on October 9, 2016 God placed one of those rays in the lives of Navasha Brown (Abilene, TX) and Kandon Collins (Fort Worth, TX). This ray would come to be known by all who loved her as Elayah Jai Brown. She was a natural performer and had a sassy confidence which illuminated those rays of sunshine throughout the room.
Elayah loved unicorns, singing, dancing, and "striking a pose". With a sassy confidence, she worked the runway throughout her entire walk of life. People would stop and admire this big personality and she usually left the store with whatever her heart desired.
She was years ahead of her time. She made everyone know that she was Elayah Jai Brown. She was running the classroom and could bring order with the other children even when the teacher found it difficult. Bright and intelligent, this ray of sunshine could penetrate the heart of everyone she touched.
On April 30, 2021, God decided to give this ray of sunshine a new assignment. However, "do not let your hearts be troubled". God granted her wings so that she could fly high and shine brighter. So every time you feel nature's rays of sunshine remember that Elayah is still touching those she loves.
Those left to cherish her memory are her parents Navasha Brown and Kandon Collins; grandparents Sylvia Brown (David), Charles Brown, and Lisa Lee (Travan); Great grandmothers Cynthia Green and Janice Lee; Great Grandfather, Sylvester Holmes (Debra); Uncles Reginald Arberry, Jr (Liliann) from Tacoma, Washington, Dannie Brown (Ashlyn) from Abilene, TX, Kentrel Wheeler from Fort Worth, Aunt Kaylon Browning from Fort Worth; Great Uncles Courtney Holmes (Desiree) from Abilene, TX, Bryce Holmes from Abilene, TX, Brett Holmes (Keonna) from Abilene, TX, and a host of other aunts, uncles, cousins, family and friends.
