Eleanor Harris

Eleanor Harris, 70, passed away on February 22, 2009 in Abilene. Her funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., on Wednesday, February 25, 2009 at Lytle South Baptist Church, 1125 E Industrial Blvd. Her Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 24, 2009 at Elmwood Funeral Home, 5750 Hwy 277 South.

Eleanor was born to Young and Mary Hall on August 5, 1938 in Temple, TX. Her family moved to Sweetwater when she was a child and she lived there until completion of high school. After graduation she moved to Dallas where she lived for ten years before moving back to West Texas and residing in Abilene until her passing. Eleanor was a member of Lytle South Baptist Church of Abilene.

Eleanor is survived by her two daughters, Lisa Angelique Hamlin and Pamela Marie Nelson both of Abilene; one sister, Peggy Sharrock and husband Charles of Sweetwater; two nephews, one niece, three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers the family suggest memorials be made to Lytle South Baptist Church, Share The Vision Fund, 1125 E Industrial Blvd. Abilene, TX 79602.
