Elisa Ibarra

Elisa Ibarra, 68, passed away Tuesday, June 10, 2014 in Mansfield, Texas. Visitation will be 6:00 til 8:00 PM on June 13, 2014 at Elmwood Funeral Home, 5750 US Hwy 277 South. Services will be 10:00 AM on Saturday, June 14, 2014 in the Elmwood Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow the service at the Highland Cemetery in Stamford, Texas.

Elisa was born in Stamford, Texas on December 2, 1945, to Trinidad Vasquez and Suzanne Mendola. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Stamford and loved listening and singing gospel music. Elisa also loved her Dr. Pepper time.

Survivors include her sons, Richard Ibarra and wife Olga, and Fernando Ibarra granddaughter Aliyah Ibarra siblings, Sam Vasquez and wife Rose Marie, Stella Diaz and husband Tony, Linda Vasquez, Jimmy Vasquez and wife Alicia and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Elisas was preceded in death by her father and a sister, Christina Vasquez.
