Eliseo Martinez Sr.

Eliseo L. Martinez Sr. gained his wings July 27, 2022 in Abilene, Texas. A visitation will be held 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM, Monday August 1, 2022 at Elmwood Funeral Home, 5750 Hwy 277 South. Funeral Services will be 10:00 AM, Tuesday August 2, 2022 in the Elmwood Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow the service in Elmwood Memorial Park.

Eliseo was born April 27, 1940 to Victoriano and Epigmenia Martinez in Aspermont. Eliseo was a proud employee of Coca Cola and Paymaster. He was also a local barber and owner to Martinez Barber Shop for 58 years. Eliseo was a church member and Deacon at Ambler Baptist Church.

He is preceded in death by his parents and his brothers, Abel, Cesilio, Solomon and his sisters, Margarita, Lionor, Elena Paula, Aurora, Rebecca and Carmen. Also his sons, Eliseo L. Martinez Jr. and Javiel Hector Martinez.

Eliseo is survived by his wife, Audelia Martinez; Son, Daniel Martinez and wife Alice; Daughter, Raquel Martinez. Three grandsons, Christopher Oren, Esteban Miguel and Nikolas Javier Martinez, and two great grandchildren, Christopher Eliseo and Mia Esme Martinez. His brothers, Victoriano, David and Paul Martinez, one sister, Petra Martinez.
