Emma Pritchett

Emma Jean Pritchett, 79 passed away on Wednesday August 7, 2024, in Abilene, Tx.

Jean was born in Anson, Texas to her loving parents Floyd Wesley Ausborn and Edith Viola Ausborn. Throughout her life, Jean was a devoted caregiver for her parents and her grandchildren and picking them up from school. She enjoyed spending time outside in the garden and especially loved spending time with her dad out in the fields. Jean was also known for her sense of humor, often entertaining those around her with her wit and charm. Her love for dressing up as Minnie Pearl added a playful and lighthearted touch to her personality, bringing smiles to many faces.

Jean is survived by her son, Roy Pritchett; daughter, Faynette Parks and husband Roy; grandchildren, Lauren Wasielewski, Luke Pritchett, Shyann Parks, Katelyn Hinkle and husband Evan Hinkle; great grandchildren, Cassie Wasielewski, Fernando Salazar, Ana Marie Salazar, Gabriella Elizabeth Salazar, Eva Sofia Salazar, Cloe Salazar, Hailie Hinkle, Jackson Hinkle, Hank Hinkle; her brother, Tommy Ausborn; her sisters, Eloise Elrod, Sue Reeves, Reta Faulks, Debra Powers.

Jean is preceded in death by her husband, Roy Weldon Pritchett; her father, Floyd Wesley Ausborn; her mother, Edith Viola Ausborn; her sisters, Hazel Ausborn, Inez Haney, Wilma McIntire, Beatrice Daniels.

She will be dearly missed by everyone who knew and loved her.
