Ethel Ilene Goetz, 98, of Abilene passed away Tuesday, December 22, 2020 in Abilene.
A graveside will be held Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at 2 PM at the Elmwood Memorial Park,
Ethel was born on July 23, 1922 in Marceline, Missouri to the late Phillip Scott Kee and Maude St. Clair Kee. She married William Glen Goetz on August 13, 1940 and were blessed with 52 years together. They enjoyed spending time with family and friends and camping in Rockport. He passed away on October 19, 1992. Ethel enjoyed bowling, sewing and was known to be a very good cook. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
Ethel is survived by her children, Joe P “Pete” Goetz (Bobbye Sue), Glenda Lee Stunden (Terry); grandchildren; Glenn Scott Reimann (Angie), Cynthia Mixon and husband, Christopher), Gerald Goetz (Angelika), Tammy Rankin (Brent), Laura Parker (David), Kelly Herall (Frank), Heather Sullivan (Mark), Steven Goetz (Darla), Darrell Goetz (Lisa); numerous great and great-great grandchildren; daughter In-law, Delores Goetz.
Ethel was also preceded in death by a Son, Daniel Ford Goetz; Daughter, Yvonne Ilene Reimann; Numerous Brothers; a sister, Margaret.
