Euda Wheeler

Euda Faye Cordell Wheeler, 85, of Abilene, passed on February 4, 2016.

A graveside service with Pastor Billy Bardin and Reverend Larry Holder officiating, will be held on Tuesday, February 9, 2016 at 10:00 AM at Elmwood Memorial Park in the Garden of the Good Shepherd. Viewing will be held on Monday, February 8, 2016 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Elmwood Funeral Home.

Euda Faye was born December 18, 1930 to Euda Love Rogers and Guy Abner Cordell in St. Paul, San Patricia County, Texas and was raised at Ballinger, Texas. She attended school at Ballinger Texas. She married Bryan Kent Wheeler on October 19, 1957 in Abilene. Before retiring she worked at McKesson Drug Company, Hardin Simmons University, McMurry University, and Middlebrooks Insurance Company and also was a volunteer at the Abilene Food Bank. She was a member of Berry Lane Baptist Church.

Euda Faye was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Jerold.

Survivors are her husband, Bryan, two daughters, Maudie L. Webb and husband Charlie of Abilene, TX; and Patricia A. Holder and husband Larry of Quanah, TX, a son, Randell L. Wheeler and wife Annie of Leicester, MA. Three sisters M. June Pyburn and husband Elton of Voss, TX; Peggy G. Watts of Glendale, AZ; Frances Geraldine Stewart and husband Lynn of Abilene, TX; and a brother, Daniel R. Cordell of Palestine, TX. A number of grandchildren, several great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Food Bank of West Central Texas Pantry Abilene, Texas, Salvation Army or Hendrick Hospice.
