Faith Brandy Hoard, 43, of Tustin, California passed away Thursday, February 11, 2021 in Abilene, Texas.
Faith was born on March 16, 1977 in California to Janice and James Hoard. Faith was raised by Janice Hoard in Tustin California where she learned to become an independent, loving, and caring woman. She later gave birth to a beautiful daughter named Kayla T. Hoard-Lee. No matter what Faith faced, she always did whatever she could to help those around her. She was a very generous person. Faith eventually moved to Rio Rancho New Mexico where she earned her associate degree, while taking care of her mother Janice Hoard full time. She had a very good sense of beauty. She became a photographer and enjoyed seeing the world through her eyes, and capturing those moments on her camera. Faith attended church regularly and volunteered her time to help her community. Faith Hoard is an amazing woman and an inspiration to all of us who were blessed with the opportunity to witness and share her journey. Faith is the kind of person who was short to take but quick to give. We could always count on her to share her caring and loving hand. She has a great sense of humor and always knew the right things to say to help you get through those difficult times. She could be direct but had an amazing ability to see the good in everyone and only wanted the best for them. She cared for her mother until Janice passed away. Faith moved to Abilene to be closer to her daughter and found employment delivering food in her new community. Where she continued to share her kind nature with her new found friends. She would buy her co-workers something to eat from the kindness of her heart and also brought gifts to show her appreciation and to put a smiles on their faces. She was a devoted mother and a servant of GOD. She is survived by her daughter Kayla and her three puppy dogs that she loved dearly. Their names are Percy, Gina, and Tony. Gina and Tony were named after one of her favorite movies.
She always answered God’s calling no matter how difficult it may have been. She was full of life and will be missed greatly. Faith had a true appreciation for life and touched many lives with her kind, caring, and loving ways.
