Felisha C. Boisjolie, a devoted mother, loving wife, and respected person by everyone who got the chance to know her, passed away on February 24, 2024 in her home in Baird, Texas. Born to Regena Rice on May 22, 1983 in Lawton, Oklahoma, Felisha lived a life full of love and selflessness.
From an early age Felisha was known for her amazing strength and dedication. She constantly helped others and gave everything she could for people in need. Felisha had various occupations but the one she stuck to till the end, was her General Manager position at Chicken Express. There she worked countless hours to help the store and keep her customers satisfied.
Felisha met the love of her life, Robert Chaney, while working at a restaurant called Cattle Barron. Throughout each passing year and every memory, their love flourished beyond words. The love these two shared was never questionable and their immediate bond was undeniable.
Felisha was very well known as a woman who cherished every moment she got with her friends and family. She made sure to let her loved ones know everyday how loved and special they were to her. A source of constant joy and laughter to those around her, Felisha had a remarkable sense of humor that could light up any room.
Preceding her in death is her step dad, Michael Barrington; aunt, Rebecca Melum Ashton; and cousin, Channing Andersen.
Surviving her are her children, Jayden and Katrina Griffin, Cameron Griffin, Taelor Stephens, and Channing Boggess; husband, Robert Chaney; sisters, Lacresha Casarez, Lawana Caywood, and Elizabeth Sims; brother, Sean Caywood; grandchildren, Jayden Griffin Jr., and one on the way; uncle, James Richard Bidwell; aunt, Ramona Andersen; parents, Charles and Regena Rice; grandparents, Mac and Barbara Bowman, and Gerald Melum; stepbrother, Cris Rice; stepsister, Caylene Rice; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members, and friends.
Family and friends will gather to honor Felisha at Elmwood Funeral Home’s Chapel located at 5750 Hwy 277 South in Abilene, Texas. The visitation will take place on Wednesday, February 28, 2024 at 1:00 PM and a funeral service at 2 PM.
