Florencio Juan

Florencio San Juan, 83, died Tuesday, June 29, 2010 in Abilene. His funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, July 3rd in the Elmwood Funeral Home Chapel, 5750 HWY 277 South. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 6:00 PM with Rosary beginning at 6:00 PM Friday at the funeral home.

Mr. San Juan was born on January 3, 1927 in the Philippines. He worked most of his life as a carpenter in the Philippines and came to Abilene to be near family after he retired in 1992. He enjoyed watching TV and spending time with his family.

Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Marcelina San Juan of Abilene his children, Rudolfo San Juan of Guam, Terisita Pimentel of the Philippines, Julieta Paraiso of Saudi Arabia, Fe Carbaugh of Abilene, Norvina DOcampo of the Philippines, Remedios Makahilia of the Philippines, Norma Kelley of California, Nora San Juan of the Philippines, and Marcelino San Juan of the Philippines a sister, Prisila Magalianes of the Philippines a brother, Oscar San Juan of Chicago cousin, Carmen Margiotta of Abilene 29 grandchildren, including, Christian Carbaugh and his wife Erica and their children, Xavier and Zander of Abilene, Mari Dockett and husband Matt and their children, Isaah, Allen and Margarete of North Carolina, and Katherine Donald and her husband Justin of Louisiana 22 great grandchildren.

Two children, 2 brothers, 2 sisters, and 2 grandchildren, Richard and Anthony Carbaugh preceded him in death.
