Frank Foy

Frank S. Mike Foy, 77, passed away Sunday, January 15, 2012 in Abilene. A graveside service will be held at 3:00 PM on Wednesday, January 18th in the Garden of Remembrance at Elmwood Memorial Park. Visitation is from 5:00 to 7:00 PM on Tuesday at Elmwood Funeral Home, 5750 HWY 277 South.

Mike was born on March 25, 1934 the son of Frank Truman Foy and Elma Maude McHorse Foy. He was a lifelong Abilene resident. Through the years, he had worked in the family business as a carpet layer, for AISD in bus maintenance and 40 plus years as an auto mechanic at various Chevrolet dealerships. He enjoyed watching the western channel, listening to old western records, building ships in a bottle and motorcycles.

Survivors include his wife of 30 years who he loved and adored, Gail Foy of Abilene his children, Tammy Crane and husband Ricky of Abilene, Sharon Bisset and husband Randy of Ft. Worth and Jon D. Miller of Abilene his sister, Dorothy Watson and husband John of Abilene four brothers, Truman Foy and wife Barbara of Burleson, Pat Foy and wife Laverne of Sweetwater, Britt Foy and Don Foy both of Abilene four grandchildren, Jeremy Watts, Shawna Bennett and husband John, Kimberly Heffernan and Mackenzie Crane 5 great grandchildren and numerous loving nieces and nephews.
