Gabrielle Alexandria Mathis

Gabrielle A. Mathis, age 32, passed away Thursday and went to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, July 4, 2024.

 She is proceeded in death by her grandfather, John Mathis of Wayne Lakes, Ohio, and maternal grandmother, Elma Gonzales of Abilene Texas. 

 Gabrielle was a kind, loving, and caring person that enjoyed guinea pigs, turtles, watching cartoons, singing, reading, coloring and art, and taking walks outdoors in nature. 

 Gabrielle is survived by parents, Carey Mathis (Arcanum Ohio), Michelle and Mark (stepfather) Verastegui (Ft Worth Texas); her close brother and dear friend, Daniel Mathis (Arcanum Ohio); Grandmother, Deborah Mathis (Wayne Lakes Ohio); maternal Grandfather, Frank Gonzales (Abilene Texas); and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. 

 A celebration of life will be held 2:30 PM, Wednesday, July 17, 2024, at Zion Lutheran, 2801 Antilley Rd, Abilene, TX. Online condolences may be shared through the obituary link at www.elmwoodfuneral.com
