Gary Simmons

Gary Edward Simmons of Abilene, TX went to be with the Lord on May 5, 2021.
He was born September 20, 1948 in Abilene, TX to James E Simmons and Norma Maxine Simmons. He graduated high school in 1968 at Abilene Christian High School in Abilene, TX. he worked for Simmons Produce for many years. Gary married Deidra Simmons on May 15, 1973 in Abilene.

Gary was preceded in death by his wife, Deidra Simmons; mother, Norma Maxine Simmons; father, James E Simmons; maternal grandparents; and paternal grandparents.

He is survived by his son, Gary Michael Simmons of Abilene; daughter, Barbara Michele Simmons of Abilene; brother, Frank Simmons, and wife Tracy of Abilene; sister, Karen White, of Abilene; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
