Gary Stock

Gary Thomas Stock, 53, of Abilene passed away Saturday, August 8, 2015 in Abilene.

Funeral service will be held Wednesday, August 12, 2015 at 2 PM at Elmwood Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation with the family will be held at 1 PM at the funeral home prior to the service. Memorial service and inurnment will be held Friday, August 14 at 11 AM at the Texas State Veterans Cemetery at Abilene.

Gary was born on July 27, 1962 in Woodstock, Illinois to Thomas Stock and Evelyn Hager Stock. He married Eve Vee Foley on April 28, 1984 in Capron, IL. Gary served his country in the U.S. Air Force for 22 years until his retirement. He went on to work 7 more years in civil service as Unit Deployment Manager up until his illness.

Gary is survived by his wife, Eve; sons, Anthony Alan Stock and his wife Sarah of Woodlands, TX, Jeremy Michael Stock of Abilene; parents, Thomas and Evelyn Stock; grandchildren, Everett Alan Stock and one granddaughter on the way; brother, Paul Stock and wife Angie of Lakeland, FL; brother in-law, William Scott Smith and wife Sharon of Chicago, IL; sister in-law, Eva Foley; many nieces and nephews and dear friends.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Natalie Pait.
