Geneva Starritt

Geneva Starritt, 86, passed away Sunday, November 25, 2012 in Abilene. Funeral service will be 3:00 PM, Tuesday, November 27, 2012 in the Elmwood Funeral Home Chapel, 5750 Hwy 277 South., officiated by Reverend Jimmy Griffith. Interment will follow the service at Elmwood Memorial Park.
Geneva was born July 13, 1926 to John Howard and Annie Bell Scurlock. She married James Bill Starritt in 1947. She was a faithful member of Belmont Baptist Church and her Sunday School Class. She enjoyed sewing and spending time with her family and friends.
Geneva is survived by her husband, James A Bill Starritt two grandchildren, Kyle and Cindy four great grandchildren, Nolan, Nicolas, Ryan, and Landon two sisters, Betty Ann Vessels, Bobbie John Thomas several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her son, Billy J Starritt sisters, Nell Scurlock Brown and Kathleen Vessels brothers, Ray Scurlock and Jack Scurlock.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations are suggested to Integracare Hospice, 1665 Antilley Road 100, Abilene, TX 79606
