Gerneva Dennis, 98, of Abilene, TX passed away Friday, December 3, 2021, in Abilene, TX.

A graveside service will be held Tuesday, December 7, 2021, at 11:00 AM at Elmwood Memorial Park.

Gerneva was born on April 19, 1923, in Tye, TX to the late Henry Foster and Dessie Lane Foster. She married Loren Dennis in August 1949 and were blessed with 51 years of marriage until his passing in September 2000. Gerneva was a Genealogist and authored 3 books about her family. She also worked as a seamstress. Gerneva was a member of Trinity Baptist Church.

Gerneva is survived by her daughter, Norma Weston; cousins, Alice Wilson, David Foster (Debbie) and Ginger Bauchem (Parks).
