Ginger Fisher

December 28, 1951 — January 20, 2022

Ginger Lynn McNeely Fisher passed peacefully surrounded by her loved ones at the age of 70.

Ginger was born to Donald and Jane McNeely on December 28, 1951 in Abilene, Tx.

Ginger graduated from Abilene High School and McMurry University. She received a Bachelor's degree in psychology with a minor in sociology. She worked for CPS for 19 years, then day care licensing. She retired in April of 2015. She made many friends and touched many lives during this time.

Preceding her in death is her father, mother, brother, and many aunts and uncles.

Ginger is survived by her daughter Amy and her husband Jason Lowder; her grandchildren Jason Jr, Emily, Bridget, Jacob, Maddy, and soon to be her beloved "peanut"; her sister, Cheryl DeLeon and her 3 boys Donnie DeLeon, Tommy and Sharlette DeLeon, and Michael and Marisa DeLeon and their 5 children Raquel, Mateo, Mila, Remi, and Ria; her brother David and his wife Carla McNeely.

Ginger was the kindest soul and had the greatest smile. Her family came first always. While she was a quiet person, she always knew what to say when you needed her. She loved reading, coloring, being retired, playing games on her IPAD, but most of all spending time with her family. She loved children and was so lucky to be surrounded by so many. She loved all of us dearly.
