Graveside services will be held 11:00 AM, Saturday, January 21, 2023, at Shep Cemetery in Wingate, Tx. A gathering of family and friends will follow at the Shep Community Center.
Glenn was born December 29, 1961 in Waco, Tx to Will and Jerrie Ruth Webb Thomson. Their family moved to Abilene in the early 70's, where dad attended Cooper up until his senior year. He proudly became a class of 1980 Wylie Bulldog thereafter.
Dad met the love of his life, Karen Akens, while they were working for North's Funeral Home. They married August 3, 1982 and had three boys, Robbie, Jacob, and Noah.
Glen always made time to coach the boy's Little League teams. His and mom's style of Dixie Burgers became a staple of the venue.
After all this, Dad was most proud to become "Gigi", to his three grandchildren, Elijah, Gabby, and Addison.
Dad was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include the love of his life, Karen; his three boys, Robbie, Jacob and wife Denise, Noah and wife Kayce; and his adopted Chambers Family, Brooke, Toby, Taylan, Kanyon, Jonyn, Brennan, Grayson, and Ruby; as well as many extended family and friends, including his very special aunts, Wanda and Debbie.
In lieu of flowers, memorials and donations can be made to, The Kidney Foundation, Rescue the Animals, and the Taylor Jones Humane Society.
