Guadalupe B. Diaz Jr., 80, of Abilene, Texas, passed after an illness on February 3, 2025. Born on August 18, 1944, in Beeville, Texas. He was an affectionate, dedicated and hardworking husband and family man, who always put the needs of others before his own.

He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Elida Diaz, daughters, Lisa Diaz, Canderlaria Diaz Reynolds and husband Robert Reynolds, son, Christopher Diaz and wife Rebecca Lee Diaz and daughter, Rebecca Lou Diaz.

Grandchildren, Samantha Diaz, Robyn Reynolds, Joseph Reynolds, Gabriella Reynolds, Noah Diaz and Abigail Diaz.

Sisters Florinda Rodriguez, Connie Patlan, and Mary Robles and husband Jesse Robles, and brother Eddie Diaz numerous nephews and nieces.

Preceded in death by his parents, Soila Diaz and Guadalupe Diaz Sr.

Lupe's personality brought warmth and joy to everyone he encountered, and his passing will be mourned deeply by all who knew and loved him.

Those who knew and cherished Guadalupe are invited to gather in remembrance and celebrate his legacy at Elmwood Funeral Home, located at 5750 Hwy 277, Abilene, Texas, 79606, where services will be held at 3:00 PM on February 7, 2025.
