Hayden Strickland

Hayden Allen Strickland, 5, of Hawley passed away Thursday, September 17, 2015 in Abilene.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, September 22, 2015 at 10 AM at First Baptist Church Hawley. Burial will follow at Hawley Cemetery. Visitation will be held Monday from 6 to 8 PM at Elmwood Funeral Home.

Hayden was born on March 23, 2010 in Abilene to Paul Strickland and Kimberly Light. He was a playful boy who loved all things Dinosaur, Thor, video games and swim day at the pool. Everyone who was his playmate was his best friend. Hayden will be dearly missed by all those whose life he touched.

Hayden is survived by his parents, Paul Strickland and Kimberly Light; sister, Dilyne Overton; brother, Logan Overton; grandparents, Regina and Van Thompson, Rhonda and Troy Peacock, Joe and Kathy Light, Ralph and Diane Davis; great grandparents, Carolyn and Shorty Leuthauser, Christine Wood, Patricia Davis, Paul and Betty Davis, Carol Light; aunts, Mindy Light, Leticia Strickland; uncles, Wesley Stinnett, Robert Strickland; cousins, J.T. McCardle, Emma Light, Casey Strickland, Jessica Strickland, Hanna Tobin; numerous great aunts, uncles, dear family and friends.
