Hazel Majors

Hazel Lois Majors, 93, of Abilene passed away Thursday, November 08, 2018 in Abilene.

A funeral service will be held Saturday, November 10, 2018 at 10 AM at the Elmwood Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Elmwood memorial Park.
Hazel was born on August 16, 1925 in Clinton, Alabama to the late Arthur Mims and Lila Brown Mims. She married Rias Hilton Majors on December 1, 1943 in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. They were blessed with almost 70 years of marriage until Hilton's passing on August 26, 2013. Hazel enjoyed traveling with Hilton and they were faithful members of St. Paul United Methodist Church. She was especially proud of her garden and loved Roses. Hazel was also preceded in death by her beloved Dachshund, Ruby, who provided her with many years of love and companionship.

Hazel is survived by a son, Gary Majors; grandchildren Avery Bechtel and husband Josh, Lindsey (Elle) Majors, Ashley Mcllwain and husband Luke; great grandchildren Parker Bechtel and Rowen Bechtel; Daughter In-law, Becky Hansen.
