Helenann Frodge

Helenann Frodge, 78, loving wife, devoted mother and dedicated grandmother, died Thursday, October 9, 2008 in Abilene. Her wishes were to be cremated and no services will be held. Arrangements are with Elmwood Funeral Home, 5750 HWY 277 South.

Helen was born on September 20, 1930 in Chicago, Illinois. She moved to Phoenix, Arizona in 1952 where she met William A. Frodge, who was beginning his career in the Air Force. They were married on December 2, 1958 in Lordsburg, New Mexico. They lived many places through their various Air Force assignments and made Clyde their home when Bill retired after being stationed at Dyess. Helen was active in the NCO Wives Club and the AKC Kennel Club. She was a friend to many and will be dearly missed.

Survivors include her husband of 49 years, Bill Frodge of Clyde; her children, Sandra Jean Frane of Peoria, Arizona, Richard Alan Frodge, and Donna Ann Hopai of Clyde; three grandchildren, Tracy Rogers, Tommy Pritchard and Leilani Hopai; and three great-grandchildren.
