Howard Naegele

Howard RIP Naegele, 88, passed away Friday, October 1, 2010 in Abilene. Inurnment will be 2:00 PM, Tuesday, October 5, 2010, at the Texas State Veterans Cemetery, 7457 West Lake Road, Abilene.
Howard was born on August 31, 1922 in Minneapolis, MN to proud parents Alvin and Violet Naegele. After moving to Texas he met the love of his life Ruby Lynn Workman, and they were married in 1950 in Lubbock, TX. Howard served our country in the United States Air Force for 30 years. His military career took him all over the United States and as far as France and England during World War II. He earned his degree in journalism at the University of Minnesota. Howard was an avid golfer, playing as long as his eyesight and health permitted, and was a Mason where he remained active until his later years.
Howard was preceded in death by his parents one brother, Alvin Naegele and one sister, Katherine Gamec.
Survivors include his wife, Lynn his two children, Michael Naegele and wife Lois of San Antonio, and daughter Liz Bryan and husband Bob of Phoenix, AZ three grandchildren, Jaime Harkrader and husband Christopher of Minneapolis, MN, Justin Naegele of Ft. Worth, Shauna Lowrey and husband Gavin of Phoenix, AZ three great grandchildren two brothers, Ross Naegele and wife Lois and Conrad Naegele and wife Norma, both of Minneapolis, MN one sisterinlaw, Mickey Naegele of Philadelphia, PA and numerous nieces and nephews.
