Howard E. Stevenson 72, of Abilene, Texas passed away October 4, 2020 at Hendrick Medical Center

Graveside Services will be Held on Saturday, October 10, 2020 at 11:00 am at the City Cemetery (Cedar Hill Flat Section) North 10th and Treadaway, Abilene, Texas. Visitation, Friday, October 9, 2020 from 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm at Elmwood Funeral Home.

Howard Earl Stevenson (AKA Bubba Junior) was born to the union of Sam and Julia Stevenson in Sweetwater, Texas.

Howard received his formal education in the Abilene Public School District and graduating from Woodson High School Class of 1968.

Howard was employed and worked effortless for Cooper High School until his retirement. Because of his God-fearing upbringing and gentle spirit, Howard was loved by all. The Facility member and students loved and adored Howard.

Howard Stevenson departed this life with his family by his side. He was preceded in death by his wife Mattie, father Sam Stevenson, Sister Maryann Matthews and Joyce Harness, Brother Bobby Stevenson and his Niece Charlotta Renee Stevenson

He leaves to cherish his memory; Sons, Shawn Stevenson and Christopher Stevenson, Tx, Mother Julia Stevenson Abilene, Tx, Brothers, Sam Stevenson (Barbara), Billy Stevenson (Jann), Abilene, TX, Shane Stevenson (Lanay), AZ, Sisters, Zetta Lise, Tx, Sandra Scruggs (Willie), NY, Cynthia Washington (Alvin), AZ , grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and other family members.
