Ivan Rogers Jr.

Ivan Paul Rogers Jr., 95, passed away Sunday February 4, 2018.

Ivan was born February 4, 1923 in Waxahachie, Texas to Ivan Paul Sr. and Maymie Rogers. He married Betty Rogers and had two sons, Ivan Paul Rogers III and wife Janet, William Richard Rogers and wife Patty. In the 50's he was a coach and history teacher in Farmersville, Texas and continued his teaching in Breckenridge and Ranger, Texas. He also taught and became the principal at Travis Elementary. In the 60's he became the principal at College Heights. He became the principal at Taylor Elementary in the 70"s and made this his home until he retired in 1984.

He is preceded in death by both his parents, Ivan Paul Sr. and Maymie Rogers and his wife, Betty Lou Rogers.

Ivan is survived by his two sons, Ivan Paul Rogers III and William Richard Rogers; 8 grandchildren; and 9 great grandchildren.
