James Borgerding

James Gerard Borgerding, 62, passed away Monday, April 10, 2023 in Abilene, Texas. He was born November 10, 1960 in Dayton, Ohio to Robert and Mary Borgerding. He enjoyed music, tinkering with cars, and could fix anything. James was a Cleveland Browns fan. Above all he loved his family and leaves a legacy of love and hard work for generations to come.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Mary Borgerding; father in law, Tommie Polk; and three brother in laws, Terry Lecklider, Larry Smith, and Michael Patterson.
James is survived by his loving wife, Janet Borgerding; his children, Nathan Polk, Jacob Borgerding, and Grace Borgerding; his siblings, Robert Borgerding and wife Betty, Larry Borgerding and wife Kathy, Cathy Lecklider, Judy Wollenhaupt and husband Ray, Janet Lodge Borgerding, Tony Borgerding and wife Laure, John Borgerding and wife Carole, Tom Borgerding and wife Debby, Mary Jeane Horn and husband Doug, Lisa Smith, and Jennifer Clinger; mother in law, Carolyn Polk, sister in law, Kelly Patterson; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
