Jamey Garrison

February 24, 1981 — April 9, 2025

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jamey Aaron Garrison, who left us on April 9, 2025, at the age of 44. Born on February 24, 1981, in Bryan, Texas, Jamey was a beloved son, husband, father, brother, and friend who brought joy and laughter to everyone who knew him.

Jamey dedicated many years of his life to working in the oil field, where he made lasting friendships and created countless memories. He had a passion for the great outdoors-whether it was fishing, camping, or simply soaking up time with his family. Jamey was a true baby magnet, always holding and loving on his grandchildren, who will forever cherish their time with him.

He is survived by his wife, Melissa Garrison, and their seven children: Thomas, Adam, Jamie, Toby, Jacob, Amanda, and Brianna, as well as five grandchildren who adored him. Jamey also leaves behind his brothers Johnny Ray, Jake, and James, and sister Shelly, with whom he enjoyed countless good times and happy memories.

Jamey's love for family was evident in everything he did, whether it was hanging out with his siblings or gathering everyone together for a good time. His larger-than-life personality will be greatly missed, and he will always hold a special place in our hearts.

A Graveside service will take place on April 15, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Elmwood Memorial Park 5750 HWY 277 South, Abilene, TX 79606.  Family and friends are welcome to join us in celebrating Jamey's life and sharing cherished memories.

Rest in peace, Jamey. Your spirit will live on in the hearts of those you loved and who loved you.
