Janice Louden

Janice Louden, 67, passed away Friday, April 15, 2016. Graveside services will be 2:00 PM Thursday, April 21, 2016 at Elmwood Memorial Park, 5750 Hwy 277 South. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 12:00 to 2:00 PM at Elmwood Funeral Home.

Janice was born March 24, 1949 in Diboll, Texas to Bonner and Florence Havard. She married Jesse Louden in Abilene on November 9, 1989. She served as Registrar for the City of Abilene for a number of years. She loved her family, especially her great granddaughter, Ellie Tebow, who was the center of her world. She took great pride in and loved her home. She enjoyed spending her leisure time reading, playing Solitaire, and shopping on Amazon on her Kindle. She was known for her amazing home-cooked meals and her love of cooking them for her family and loved ones. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and will be greatly missed.

Janice is survived by her husband, Jesse; two daughters, Sonja Gray of Arkansas and Shelly Bennett of Abilene; five step-daughters, Debbie Mulroy of Florida, Shauna Gallahar of Colorado, Peggy Brooks of Florida, Shiela Barres of Florida and Tammy Crawford of Texas; two grandchildren, Chelsea Bennett of Abilene and Jency Gray of Arkansas; and great granddaughter Eleanor Tebow of Abilene and great grandson Brekken Gray, of Arkansas, who will be born soon.
