Jerlene Golleher

February 7, 1940 — August 11, 2021

Jerlene M. Golleher 81, was called to her heavenly home suddenly on August 11, 2021.
She was born February 7, 1940, in Abilene, TX to the late J.W. and Mary Jane Moore Baker. As a young child she spent her days in the cotton fields working with her family. She married Billy Ray Golleher in 1956 and raised three wonderful children. Though she was an amazing mother, she was an even greater grandmother. She had four beautiful granddaughters whom she loved, and instilled her strength in. Her five great grandchildren were her entire world. She never met a stranger and could put a smile on anyone's face. She was a free spirit, loved her God, and was a beautiful soul. For most that knew her, she was the sunshine. Though she will be missed, her wonderful memory lives on.
Jerlene is survived by her children, Alan Dale Golleher, Melinda Gonzales, Jo Dena Gomez (Julian); grandchildren, Anna Gonzales (Keith), Jessica Martinez (Tony), Randa Hewitt (Curtis), Addy Edgar (Aaron); great grandchildren, Xalyn Martinez, Ethan Hewitt, Addison Hewitt, Lane Martinez, Aria Martinez; sisters, Alva Jean Hudson, Margaret Louise Dove; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
Jerlene was also preceded in death by her brothers, L.P. Baker and James David Baker.
Memorials may be made in Jerlene's honor to Emergency Veterinarian Clinic, 909 Industrial Blvd, Abilene, TX 79602.
