Beth Bunch, 82, passed away on Sunday, May 26, 2024, in Abilene, Texas.
Beth was born on October 16, 1941, in Abilene, Tx. Beth was a graduate of Abilene High School, she attended McMurry University for 2 years, began her career as legal secretary for local attorney as well as many other secretary positions, she became office manager of her & Bobby's own family business where she retired in 2010.
She met and married the love of her life Bobby Bunch on November 11, 1992, Beth and Bobby spent 33 years in a fabulous marriage that had very few problems or arguments, their marriage was as close to perfect as any!
Beth raised 2 wonderful boys on her own with help from her mother from 9 & 10 years old and did instill the many great qualities that they possess today, she watched them through baseball, basketball, golfing, and Boy's Scouts and many other adventures, a remarkable woman without doubt, never ever complained, even in her last days Beth never complained about pain or anything else.
She loved to go fishing with Bobby for many years, had many trips to Lake Amistad, they even spent one Valentines Day there. Beth also enjoyed traveling with Bobby to places like Las Vegas, Grand Canyon, Cumberlin Falls in Kentucky, Branson, Missouri, Noah's Ark, to name a few.
Beth loved her dogs, she raised Doberman pinchers to sell but she ended up keeping more than she sold, she said if they don't sell in 12 weeks, they are mine! She had as many as 7 at any given time. The dog breeding was the main reason for moving to the country which is where her and Bobby lived the past 27 years.
She was a proud member of Pioneer Drive Baptist Church and especially enjoyed being part of The Prime Timers, she loved her Sunday School class and teacher. She will always be remembered for her dedication to helping others through her volunteer work. Beth dedicated her time to volunteering with meals on wheels and at the West fair and rodeo, where she touched the lives of many with her kindness and generosity. She was an adamant supporter of her favorite charities like St. Jude Children Network, Operation Smile, Wounded Warriors, and ASPCA Guardian. Beth was instrumental in helping to form Red Hats of Abilene, she loved all the members, she attended meetings up to the last month of her life, and special thanks to all the ladies that were so kind and caring to her! We are especially thankful to Generation Home Heath Care who provided care for her the past 10 years, and especially thankful to Chris, Valory, and Nicole.
