Jerry Lynn Fox, 58, passed away April 6, 2010 in Abilene. A graveside memorial service will be held at 10:30 AM on Monday, April 12 in the Garden of Ten Commandments at Elmwood Memorial Park under the direction of Elmwood Funeral Home, 5750 HWY 277 South.
Jerry was born on April 8, 1951 in Merkel the son of John David Fox and Violet McIntosh Fox. He attended Abilene High before moving to Fayetteville, North Carolina where he graduated from 71st High School in 1969. After returning to Abilene, he worked many years with the local cable company, was a surveyor for the city, and most recently had worked as a school crossing guard near Bonham Elementary. He enjoyed woodworking and building and flying remote control airplanes.
Survivors include his daughters, Jessica Marie and Jana Lynn Fox both of Abilene his stepfather, Truman Leroy Foy and wife Barbara of Burleson his twin brother, Terry Fox and wife Nancy of Abilene his sister, Nana Parr and husband Mark of Lockport, Louisiana an aunt, Euvalda Duncan of San Antonio and many nieces and nephews.
