Jhung Johnson

Jhung Sue Johnson, 81, passed away January 2, 2012 in Abilene. Visitation will be 6 till 8 PM, Wednesday, January 4, 2012 at Elmwood Funeral Home, 5750 Hwy 277 South. Graveside funeral service will be 1:00 PM, Thursday, January 5, 2012 at Elmwood Memorial Park, 5750 Hwy 277 South.
Sue was born April 6, 1930 in Seoul, Korea to Hui Su and Song Ye Lee. She met her husband Joseph Johnson during the Korean War and they moved to the United States in 1957. After living in Waco they relocated to Abilene where she began her career as a seamstress with Abilene Casket Company. After her retirement she enjoyed playing bingo and card games.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph her son, Stewart and her parents.
Sue is survived by her good friend, Daniel Anderson of Hawley.
Memorial donations are suggested to the AIDS Foundation in memory of her son Stewart Aids Healthcare Foundation, 6255 W. Sunset Blvd. 21st Fl., Los Angeles, CA 90028.
