John Krawczykowski

John Adam Krawczykowski, 80, died Friday, September 5, 2008. His funeral service will be held at 10:30 AM on Wednesday, September 10th at the Elmwood Funeral Home Chapel, 5750 HWY 277 South with burial following in Elmwood Memorial Park. Viewing and visitation will be from 5 to 7 PM on Tuesday at Elmwood Funeral Home.

John was born on March 22, 1928 in Chicago, Illinois. He joined the U.S. Air Force at a young age and spent 21 years in service to his country. After retirement, he delivered prescriptions for several pharmacies in town. He enjoyed collecting just about everything, and spending time at the American Legion playing pool. He was a wonderful father and grandfather.

Survivors include his daughter, Venita Minor and her husband Clifford of Abilene; a son, Larry Caldwell and his wife, Becky of Tye; five grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.
