Jose Mota

Jose Santos Mota, 65, passed away Tuesday, February 28, 2012 in Abilene. Funeral Mass will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, March 2nd at St. Francis Catholic Church 826 Cottonwood. Interment will follow in the Garden of Remembrance at Elmwood Memorial Park.

Jose was born in Mexico on November 1, 1946 the son of Marcelino Mota Juarez and Avelina Portillo. He worked as a painter. Jose was a special person who enjoyed his family, especially his grandkids. He always told his family to never fall, just keep moving forward.

Jose is survived by his wife Martha of Abilene 7 children, 3 brothers, 1 sister and numerous grandchildren.
