Josilan Workman

Josilan Josie Mae Workman, passed away on Friday, February 6, 2009 at Baylor Hospital in Dallas, due to complications from a kidney transplant. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, February 9 at the Buffalo Gap Cemetery in Buffalo Gap under the direction of Elmwood Funeral Home.

Josie was born on May 14th 1985 in San Jose, California. She was attending Cisco Junior College in hopes of someday becoming a social worker and helping others. She loved life and enjoyed making those around her smile. She was a dedicated mother, an amazing sister, loving daughter and a loyal friend.

Survivors include her daughter, Chambree whom she loved more than anything in the world; her parents, Roy and Zena Workman, two sisters, Jammie and Johanne; and her brother, Joshua.
