Joyce Mchan

Joyce Marie Foley McHan, age 82, passed away Sunday, Oct. 10, 2010, in Abilene, Texas.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, October 13, 2010 at Elmwood Funeral Home, 5750 Hwy 277 South, with interment following at Elmwood Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 6 till 8 PM on Tuesday, October 12, 2010 at Elmwood Funeral Home.

Joyce was born May 4, 1928, in Stephenson, Mich., to Joseph and Rose Marie Foley. She was a faithful member of the First Baptist Church where she was a member of the Prescilla Sunday School Class. She enjoyed teaching preschool Sunday School for years. She was a homemaker and loved to sew and paint. She was a very devoted mother who loved and was dearly loved by her children, grandchildren, and friends. She will be missed.

Joyce is survived by three sons, Richard McHan and wife Judy of Bangs, Texas, Mark McHan and wife Marsha of Abilene, Texas, and Bryan McHan and wife Lisa of Odessa, Texas one daughter, Kelle Abernathy and husband Jay of Palestine, Texas 13 grandchildren and 14 greatgrandchildren.

Joyce was preceded in death by her husband, Kelly Richard McHan, her mother and father, five brothers and two sisters, and one granddaughter.
