Juan "Kico" Francisco Aguero, 69, of Abilene passed away Tuesday, January 4, 2022, in Abilene.
A visitation will be held on Friday, January 7, 2022, at 5:00 PM followed by a prayer service at 6:00 PM at the Elmwood Funeral Home Chapel, 5750 US HWY 277 S, Abilene, TX. A funeral service will be held Saturday, January 8, 2022, at 10:00 AM at Elmwood Funeral Home Chapel.
Kico was born on August 21, 1952, in Beeville, TX to the late Felix Juan Aguero and Jovita Lopez Aguero. He married the love of his life, Rosalinda Ovalles on October 23, 1998, in San Angelo, TX. Kico loved country music and enjoyed dancing and singing at family events and celebrations. He was all about family and friends, attending their sporting events and school activities. Kico was a devout Catholic and member of St. Frances of Assisi Catholic Church. He loved sports, especially the Pittsburg Steeler.
Kico is survived by his loving wife of 23 years, Rosalinda Aguero; children, Juanita Aguero and husband Jose Trujillo, Jonathan "Peto" Aguero and wife Elizabeth Boston, Jennifer Aguero and husband Heath Green, Christopher Aguero, and wife Stormi, Cynthia Ramirez; 24 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; siblings, Valerio Aguero, Tommi Garza and husband Rudy, Olivia Sanchez and husband Salvador, Frank Aguero, Felix Aguero and wife Avita; numerous extended family and friends.
Kico was also preceded in death by siblings, Victor Aguero, Marcos Aguero; stepson, Cyneka Lee Ramirez.
