Juanita Flores

Juanita Flores, 71, passed away Friday, April 16, 2010 in Abilene. Her funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM Monday, April 19 at St. Vincent Pallotti Catholic Church, 2525 Westview with burial following in the Garden of Memories at Elmwood Memorial Park. Visitation is from 6:00 to 7:00 PM on Sunday with Prayer Service beginning at 7:00 PM in the Elmwood Funeral Home Chapel, 5750 HWY 277 South.

Juanita was born on the El Maneado Ranch in Lyford, Texas on December 11, 1938. She came to Abilene in 1967 where she met her beloved husband Jesse. She loved being involved in the lives of her children and grandchildren and was active with Northern Little League and became a huge Abilene High fan as she stayed busy going from game to game cheering for her family. She was a member of St. Vincent Pallotti Catholic Church.

Survivors include three sons, Jesse Flores III and wife Carolyn, Jaime Flores and wife Marisa and Jose Luis Joey Flores Sr. and wife Brandi all of Abilene her grandchildren, Sara Fisher and husband Billy, Samantha, Jamie, Jaimito, Joseph, Joey Jr., Andrew, Angel, A.J., Jordan, Isaiah, Boo, Candi and Gabby her brothers and sisters, Connie and Buddy Fitch, Lazaro Longoria, Amado Longoria, Juanita Longoria, Frances Whitworth, David and Antonia McKinney and Joe and Lala Gutierrez sistersinlaw, Beatrice Santana, Juanita Valenzuela and husband Manuel and Estella Lopez and numerous nieces and nephews.

Her parents, Luis Perez and Genoeva Reyna Perez and her husband, Jesse Flores preceded her in death.
