Judy Kelly

Julia "Judy" Kelly, 93, went home to Heaven June 5, 2015.

A Memorial service to celebrate Judy's life will be held on Saturday, August 15, 2015 at 11 AM at Elmwood Funeral Home Chapel.

Judy was born to the late Thrasher Smith and Cynthia Hollon Smith on June 3, 1922 in Compton, Kentucky. Growing up in the mountains of Kentucky she learned to be resourceful and independent. Judy worked for US Brass for 26 years until her retirement. She was a very good cook and loved her family. Judy will be dearly missed by those who were lucky to have known and loved her.

Judy is survived by her daughter, Diane Dimon; son, Pat Kelly; daughters, Mary Byrom and Colleen Deaner; 7 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchildren; 1 brother, Fred Smith; several nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank Dr. Toby Wiliams and Hendrick Hospice for the care and compassion that was given to our mom and family.
