Julia Boyd

Julia Boyd, 85, of Abilene, passed away Wednesday, February 18, 2015 in Abilene.

Graveside service will be held Friday at 11:00 AM at Elmwood Memorial Park with Jerry Vincent officiating. Services are under the direction of Elmwood Funeral Home.

Julia was born on December 28, 1929 in Paris, TX to the late George Martin and Fannie Higgins Martin. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Walker and husband Bill E. Boyd. Julia led a wonderful life and was blessed with 3 loving daughters. She made her family and friends feel loved and special. Julia was a Baptist and will be dearly missed by those who would call her friend of mother.

Julia is survived by her 3 daughters, Kathryn Spivey, Lynne Hargrove, Sandra Pietsch; son, Bobby Walker; sister, Mary Giannini; many dear family and friends.

Julia was also preceded in death by 3 brothers, William (Red) Martin, Billy Martin, Johnny Martin and sister, Dorothy Martin Brooks.
