Julie Rodriguez, lovingly known as kind and caring, passed away on January 4, 2024, in Abilene, Texas. Born on December 22, 1970, in Waco, Texas, Julie was the beloved daughter of Juan Carlos Rodriguez, Sr. and Consuelo “Connie” Rodriguez.
Throughout her life, Julie demonstrated a remarkable work ethic and dedication to her career. She contributed her talents to Frost and Sullivan for over 20 years. Her commitment and passion for her work were truly admirable.
It was in her personal life that Julie truly left an indelible mark. She had a genuine affection for her family, treating her nephew and nieces as if they were her own children. No matter the occasion or event, Julie was always present, providing unwavering support and love to her entire family.
Julie’s adventurous spirit led her to explore the world whenever she had the opportunity. Her travels took her beyond the borders of the United States to places like Australia, India, Argentina, Mexico, and many others. Within the U.S., she ventured to various states. These experiences enriched her life and fostered a deep appreciation for different cultures.
In addition to traveling, Julie found joy in cheering for sports teams such as the Cowboys, Spurs, and Rangers. Supporting these teams brought out her competitive spirit providing excitement and entertainment.
A Prayer Service will be held on January 8th, 2024 at 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM at the Elmwood Funeral Home Chapel located at 5750 Hwy 277 South in Abilene, Texas. The Funeral Service will take place on January 9th, 2024 at 10:00 AM at St. Vincent Pallotti Catholic Church, located at 2525 Westview Drive in Abilene, Texas. This ceremony will honor Julie's life and provide an opportunity for loved ones to pay their final respects. Interment will follow in Elmwood Memorial Park.
Julie will be deeply missed by her surviving family and friends. Her parents, Juan Carlos and Connie; her sister, Cecelia Zertuche and husband Juan; brother, Juan Carlos Rodriguez Jr., along with her nephew, Jesse Zertuche, and nieces, Alexis Zertuche, Mireya Rodriguez, and Mayeli Rodriguez.
Julie’s departure leaves a void that cannot be filled. However, it is through memories of her unwavering kindness and genuine care for others that her legacy will continue. She will always be remembered as an exceptional individual who impacted the lives of those fortunate enough to know her. Rest in peace, dear Julie.
Don't Cry for me, I'm not gone, My soul is at rest, my heart lives on. Light a candle for me to see and hold on to my memory, but save your tears for I'm still here, by your side through the years.
