Katie Caffey

Katie Jo Ellen Caffey passed peacefully on April 20, 2017. A graveside service will be 12:00 PM, Monday, April 24 2017 in Elmwood Memorial Park.

She born in Vernon, TX, on November 2, 1935, she married the love of her life, Weldon Caffey, on January 3, 1959. A lifelong philanthropist, she dedicated her time to helping others.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Weldon Caffey.

She is survived by three daughters, Judi Hartsfield, Jan Fridge, and Leatrice Caffey; nephew and niece, Kenneth and Debra Swanson. The joy of her life was her grandchildren, Alan Hartmann, Kelly Alderson, Lindsey Fridge, Phoenix Berry, and Godot Ewing. Her best friends and sisters in heart were Paula Leddy and Linda Couturier.

Graveside services will be held at Elmwood Cemetery at noon, on Monday, April 24, 2017.
