Kay Kraigolyn Faught of Abilene, 75, passed away on Tuesday, July 29, 2008 at a local hospital.
Visitation for family and friends will be from 1:00 to 2:30 p.m. on Friday, August 1, 2008 at Elmwood Funeral Home, 5750 Hwy. 277 S.; graveside service will follow at 3:00 p.m. in Elmwood Memorial Park Garden of faith with Rev. James Brigham officiating.
Kay was born on April 15, 1933 in Hamlin, Texas to J.C. and Janie Bessire. She was married to Kenneth Faught and they celebrated their 43rd anniversary on July 17. They had one son Michael Fought who preceded her in death in 1994.
She worked as a secretary for many years in the oil industry; she also sold Home Interiors for 33 years. Kay was a member of the Desk and Derricks organization and served as president in 1974. She was a Methodist.
She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Faught of Abilene; brother, Jack and wife, Donna Bessire of Hamlin; nephew, Gregg and wife, Karen Bessire of Carrolton; and her pet poodle of eleven years, Kaci Cenne.
