Kay Logston

Kay Logston, 79, beloved Wife and Mother, was called to her eternal resting place on December 20, 2016. She entered this world on September 29, 1937 in Stamford, TX, born to Bert and Marie Davis. She is survived by her children: Kelly Robinson (Shelly), Karman Abel (Robert), Linda Johnson and Brenda Roberts. "Mimi" also cherished her five grandchildren: Josh Johnson, Kristen Abel and Kamdon, Karson and Kalee Robinson.

Kay was tremendously excited anytime she was around her family as well as the many friends that she had. She also was an avid bowler, enjoyed her trips to the slot machines and to watch the ponies run. She was proud to proclaim herself as a huge San Antonio Spurs and Dallas Cowboys fan as well as pulling hard for the Texas Tech Red Raiders. All of those things, though, paled in comparison to the love that she had for the times she could spend with late husband, Don, as they traveled around the country to various NASCAR venues when they had the chance.

A visitation period for the family to receive friends will be Thursday, December 22nd from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Elmwood Funeral Home, 5750 Hwy 277 South. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am Friday, December 23rd at Elmwood Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be in Elmwood Memorial Park.

The family suggests memorials in Kay's name to the American Cancer Society.
