Kelly Bunselmeyer

Kelly Bunselmeyer, a devoted nurse and beloved member of her community, passed away on October 22, 2024, in Abilene, Texas, at the age of 69. Born on February 11, 1955, in Loraine, Texas, Kelly's early roots shaped her compassionate spirit and steadfast dedication to caring for others.

Kelly dedicated an impressive 45 years of her life to nursing, where she utilized her skills and knowledge to make a significant impact on the lives of her patients. She earned an Associate Degree in Nursing, laying a strong foundation for a career that embodied empathy, resilience, and tireless commitment. Her long hours and dedication to her work exemplified her enduring passion for healthcare.

Beyond her professional life, Kelly found joy in the simplicity of family time. She cherished the moments spent with loved ones, often engaging in leisurely activities such as working on puzzles or enjoying her favorite television shows, always accompanied by her side of Dr Pepper. These quiet yet joyful pursuits brought her a sense of balance amidst the demands of her career.

Kelly is survived by her husband Larry Bunselmeyer; sons Rodney Bunselmeyer and Larry Jay Bunselmeyer and spouse Pam and daughter Courtney Martinez spouse David; grandchildren Jayla Pittman, Jaleel Pittman, Dylan Bunselmeyer, Bella Bunselmeyer, Sarah Bunselmeyer, Kaityln Martinez, Calliegh Martinez, Cameron Martinez, Cooper Bunselmeyer, and Chole Bunselmeyer; great grandchildren Axel and Silas.

Kelly is preceded in death by her parents, Homer Hindman and Linnie Hindman, two brothers and one sister. Her legacy as a caring and nurturing individual will be fondly remembered by many.
