Kenneth Faught

Kenneth Preston Faught, 71, died Saturday, September 11, 2010 in Abilene. A graveside service with Dusty Garrison officiating will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, September 16 in the Garden of Faith at Elmwood Memorial Park under the direction of Elmwood Funeral Home, 5750 HWY 277 South.

Kenneth was born in Roscoe, Texas on September 26, 1939 the son of Arvil Faught and Marie Larry Faught. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War and later married Kay Kraigolyn Bessire on July 17, 1965. He lived most of his life in Sweetwater where he worked many years for BJ Services. After retirement he moved to Abilene in the early 70s and worked a short time at the Dyess Federal Credit Union.

Survivors include two brothers, Billy and Buryl Faught of Abilene.
His parents, his wife, two brothers, Royston and Earl and his son, Michael preceded him in death.
