Kim, as most of her friends and family knew her, was a caring and compassionate wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, daughter, and friend. She left us after a long battle with Parkinson's on July 29th. She was a fighter and did not let the disease bring her down.
Kim was born on September 2, 1960, to Bob and Pat Ogren in Jackson, California. Later she became a big sister to Becky Hodges. She lived in many different places with her parents picking up so many good stories she would later tell her children and grandchildren. She met her husband Lee when they were just 14 years old, although they didn't date and marry until 1980. Together they had two wonderful children Shawn and Lacey.
Kim was an avid photographer and very crafty. She was always taking photos, drawing, and painting often. She continually had her grandchildren outside playing or creating something new. She was big on family, and she was always so kind and caring to everyone whom she met.
She will be missed, and her memory will live on through her parents Bob and Pat Ogren, sister Becky Hodges and husband David Hodges, husband Lee Chevalier, children Shawn Chevalier and Lacey Torres, their spouses Tamara Garza and Eddie Torres, and her precious grandchildren Dylan Torres, Julian Torres, Jeremy Torres, Ashlyn Chevalier, and Stormi Garza. And her one and only great child Jackson Childers, and numerous other family and friends.
