Larry Cooper

Larry Douglas Cooper, 66, of Abilene passed away Wednesday, December 29, 2021, in Abilene.

A graveside service will be held Tuesday, January 11, 2022, at 11:00 AM at Elmwood Memorial Park, 5750 US HWY 277 S Abilene, TX 79606.

Larry was born on August 10, 1955, in Colorado Springs, Colorado to the late Douglas Eugene Cooper and Margaret Lillian Allen and was a 1974 graduate of Abilene High School. He worked for many years in the air conditioning and heating industry. Larry often attended church and would enjoy a meal afterwards. He was known to be a great mechanic and had the ability to fix anything. Larry enjoyed movies and his favorite was James Bond. He enjoyed all forms of racing and loved fishing.

Larry is survived by his children, Gary Douglas Cooper and wife Christina, Melissa Rose Cooper; Andrew Cooper and Joseph Stephens; Sisters, Victoria Jane Cooper and Savoy Price and husband Mel.
